Development Officer – Washington DC Metropolitan Region
Handicap International (HI) is an international humanitarian NGO with eight offices in Europe, Canada and the U.S. that collectively support programs for especially vulnerable people living in 60, post-conflict or low-income countries.
The U.S. office, poised for growth over the next five years, seeks to hire a Development Officer to contribute to the overall fundraising goals of the organization. Overall responsibilities will include managing a portfolio of relationships with corporations, foundations and individuals for the purpose of raising funds. Candidate must be a self-starter with a successful track record, enjoy a fast-paced environment with an international focus, and be willing to handle a wide variety of responsibilities.
Bachelor's required. Salary is commensurate with experience. Excellent benefits.
