Every year more than 450 voluntary workers choose to give their time, skills and enthusiasm to Handicap International. Voluntary workers are the lifeblood of our organization. There are many different roles for voluntary workers and the sheer variety of work at Handicap International means that each individual can find something in line with their experience, interests and the amount of time they can offer.
Voluntary work is...
- “a feeling of being useful when you give your time and share your experience and skills”
- “supporting a cause which is close to your heart”
- “carrying out practical work alongside a strong, supportive team”
-“having the chance to enjoy the company of others”
-“getting to know how an NGO works from the inside”
-“a way of keeping in touch with the world of work”
-“all about sharing the same values”
-“getting to know new people”
