THE FIGHT AGAINST AIDS

In Kenya, Handicap International works with people with disabilities, refugees and people with HIV / AIDS.

Kenya is one of the ten African countries most affected by HIV / AIDS and records an average of 400 deaths per day caused by the virus. Handicap International also provides assistance to refugees in the Kakuma refugee camp in Northern Kenya. Kenya has a population of more than 200,000, mainly Sudanese and Somali, refugees.
