



Together, we support the Handicap International Federation's development, and emergency and mine-action projects in 63 of the world's poorest countries.
• Provide cost-effective and quality project implementation, grants administration, monitoring and evaluation support;
• Contribute technical expertise for health programming with a particular focus on maternal and child health (MCH);
• Raise funds from U.S.-based donors, including government agencies, corporations, foundations and the general public;
• Coordinate the United States Campaign to Ban Landmines;
• Share expertise concerning our work on behalf of people in disabling situations and develop key partnerships with American-based nongovernmental organizations, the U.S. government and international and bilateral organizations, such as the United Nations and the World Bank;
• Educate the American public and opinion makers on the relationship between poverty and disability and the rights of persons with disabilities;
• Advocate in the U.S. on behalf of war victims, persons with disabilities and other highly vulnerable populations living in post-conflict and/or low-income countries.
